Proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila bertujuan agar peserta didik dapat mengembangkan kompetensi dan memperkuat karakter dan profil Pancasila. Dalam proyek ini, peserta didik memiliki kesempatan untuk mempelajari isu penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sehingga dapat melakukan aksi nyata dalam menjawab isu-isu tersebut, sesuai dengan tahapan belajar dan kebutuhannya. Buku Bidik Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila ini ditujukan bagi peserta didik SMA dan MA Kelas XII dengan mengambil tema Rekayasa dan Teknologi. Adapun topik yang disajikan adalah Bioteknologi Konvensional sebagai Rekayasa Pangan Fermentasi. Sikap yang ditumbuhkan kepada peserta didik melalu proyek ini sesuai dengan dimensi profil pelajar pancasila, mandiri, bergotong-royong, serta bernalar kreatif.
